The innovation tax credit or CII approval is an « administrative document recognizing the technical and human resources of a company to participate, as a subcontractor, in the design or production of a prototype or pilot installation of a new product » according to the Direction Générale des Entreprises (DGE) which issues this approval.

Why getting CII approval ?

The innovation tax credit approval is a highly sought-after label and requested by clients. . How to apply for innovation tax credit approval ?

To apply for innovation tax credit approval, you must compile an application file. Depending on your situation with regard to research tax credit approval, the organization in charge of your file may differ.

If you only wish to get CII approval, you must send your request to the DGE. If you already hold the CIR approval or wish to obtain it alongside the CII approval, your file must be submitted to the ministry in charge of research. In this specific case, only the CIR approval will be appraised. The CII accreditation will be assigned to you automatically.

The innovation tax credit approval application file is a form (more precisely the cerfa N ° 10198 * 08) plus a scientific file and other supporting documents (diplomas, CV, etc.) …). This file must be submitted at the right time.

The CII accreditation application file must be submitted to the organization electronically or by post before September 30 of the year concerned by the CII accreditation for a first application. Thevalidity period of the innovation tax credit approval is 5 years. If you wishto renew your CII accreditation,the request must be made before September 30 of the year following the last year granted.
